The True Purpose of Terrorism – Learned Helplessness

I bought this and it is an excellent move. I highly recommend it!

Social programming is done via numerous ways.  I am going to address one aspect that is done to subjugate the population to gain control of the people.  Obviously, America was not always in the state of social unrest, joblessness, and a general feeling of despair.  Obviously, there have always been struggles, and even those struggles are used today to stir up the subjects (yes as in an experiment) to perform as expected.  Put yourself in the mindset of you are one of the powerful.  You have the money and power to never be concerned about being hungry, where to live or even what you want to buy.  Most everyone has dreamed of such a set of circumstances, and the lottery system banks on that desire when the likely hood of you winning is far less than you getting hit by lightening and yet how many have bought a lotto ticket?

Here is a list of 15 things you are more likely to experience than winning the lottery:

Death by Vending Machine

Odds:  1 in 112 million

On average, two people in the U.S. are crushed to death underneath vending machines each year. Please snack responsibly.

Dying in an Airline-Related Terrorist Attack

Odds: 1 in 25 million

No one has died in an airplane-related terrorist attack since 9/11. The pat-downs of elderly people and toddlers are really paying off.

Having Identical Quadruplets

Odds:  1 in 15 million

Identical quadruplets would be adorable, but you wouldn’t be able to support them because you probably won’t win the lottery…

Becoming President

Odds:  1 in 10 million

Mitt Romney has seen these odds and he likes them.

Dying From Bee, Hornet, or Wasp Stings

Odds:  1 in 6.1 million

Who knew bees were so scary? Then again, bees may not be as much of an issue this year.

Dying From Being Left-Handed

Odds:  1 in 4.4 million

It’s a right-handed world. Apparently, a fair number of left-handed people die each year from using right-handed products incorrectly.

Becoming a Movie Star

Odds:  1 in 1,505,000

There’s more than one way to make money in this world, and movie stardom is a better bet than playing the lottery.

Dying in a Plane Crash

Odds:  1 in 1 million

If you are too scared to board a plane, why did you just buy a lottery ticket?

Death by Flesh-Eating Bacteria

Odds: 1 in 1 million

Not as rare as one would hope, but there are worse ways to die. Maybe.

Getting Struck by Lightning

Odds: 1 in 1 million.

A lightning strike is probably still preferable to flesh-eating bacteria.

Dying in a Bathtub

Odds: 1 in 840,000

These odds are not an excuse to stop bathing.

Dying in an On-the-Job Accident

Odds:  1 in 48,000

If this applies to you, you may want to take a risk and buy that lottery ticket.

Murder

Odds: 1 in 18,000

Hopefully it won’t be over a lottery ticket, but if it is, at least your murderer probably won’t win either!

Dying in an Asteroid Apocalypse

Odds: 1 in 12,500

The good news is that this will probably never happen. That is, until the year 2040, when it’s totally going to happen!

Dying in a Car Accident

Odds: 1 in 6,700

Good luck driving to the store to buy that lottery ticket.  SOURCE

So, why do we buy the lottery ticket?  We dream of having no worries.  Now, imagine your family is in control of vast amounts of money. I am not talking about billions, but trillions of dollars.  Would the average person not seek to continue this control? Heck, let’s take it down to millions, would you not seek a way to keep that power?  The money is gained from the poor around you.  They need food, transportation, jobs, healthcare, education etc. and you control it all!  What if the people realized they do not need you, that you are a parasite on humanity?  Might they rise up to destroy you when they truly realized your abuse of them?  So, how do you keep them from coming to that conclusion and even if some did come to that conclusion to not act upon it?

1. Keep them so busy they don’t think

2. Keep them divided so they don’t rise up against the common enemy.

3. Make them feel helpless

Learned helplessness is a psychological condition in which a human being or an animal has learned to believe that it is helpless in a particular situation. It has come to believe that it has no control over its situation and that whatever it does is futile. As a result, the human being or the animal will stay passive in the face of an unpleasant, harmful or damaging situation, even when it does actually have the power to change its circumstances. Learned helplessness theory is the view that depression results from a perceived absence of control over the outcome of a situation, or situations(Seligman, 1975). Examples can be found in schools, mental institutions, orphanages, or long-term care facilities where the patients have failed or been stripped of agency for long enough to cause their feelings of inadequacy to persist

The sociologist Harrison White has suggested in his book Identity and Control that the notion of learned helplessness could be extended beyond the realm of psychology to the realm of social action. Any social actor, for example an organization or a nation, could experience situations in which it would fail to act because it has experienced in the past recurrent stochastic failures.

Martin Seligman’s foundational experiments and theory of learned helplessness began at the Cornell University in 1967, as an extension of his interest in depression, when, at first quite by accident, Seligman and colleagues discovered a result of conditioning of dogs that was opposite to what was predicted by B.F. Skinner’s behaviorism, then a leading psychological theory.

Pentagon is also running an AI program to see how people will react to propaganda and to government-inflicted terror. The program is called Sentient World Simulation:

“U.S defense, intel and homeland security officials are constructing a parallel world, on a computer, which the agencies will use to test propaganda messages and military strategies.
Called the Sentient World Simulation, the program uses AI routines based upon the psychological theories of Marty Seligman, among others. (Seligman introduced the theory of ‘learned helplessness’ in the 1960s, after shocking beagles until they cowered, urinating, on the bottom of their cages.)

People the world over cannot believe that the once strong and independent American’s are just letting our rights be stripped from us as the totalitarian police state takes over the country.  The reason this is happening, is we as a people have been slowly programmed with learned helplessness.

The government has not studied mind control, learned helplessness, hypnosis for half a century because of some altruistic notion of helping us be more free and independent.  Who pays the lobbyists?  Who gives kickbacks to politicians?  Why is Goldman Sachs always involved with their people running our government and when they leave government they go right back into banking?  WHO OWNS THE FEDERAL RESERVE AND WORLD BANKS?

The world is changing and not for the better.  There is no desire to bring the poor countries of the world into a lifestyle of those in first world countries.  The goal is to make us all live with less, much less.  The goal is to have total control of money, healthcare, food etc so that we must cooperate if we want to live.  They dangle the sudden riches and stardom out there to keep us thinking it is attainable.  Some lucky shmuck will win, but it won’t matter if they do.  They usually have lost it all within a decade anyway.  The masses will continue in this idea they might get lucky.  All the while they are being programmed into learned helplessness.  They are chemically treated with fluoride in the water, they are dying off from cancer, and they will not resist their masters.

Now, how can we overcome the past? I am adding this to the post because I think it’s very important:
